Richard Burke 65, passed away March 13, 2022 at his home in Canton, Georgia after a brief illness. Richard was born January 31, 1957 to Robert and Frances Burke of DeWitt Iowa. Richard had 23 years of hands-on roofing experience and 15 years experience as a roof consultant.

From 1983 – 1990 he worked through the Roofers Local Union 32 Rock Island Illinois. 1990 – 2003 he worked at D&D Roofing Denver & Weathersure Roofing Denver.

Richard began his roof consulting career with Cybercon Engineering in Denver, in 2018 moved to Georgia and worked for Southern Roof Consultants South Pasadena Florida.

Richard came up through the low slope roofing business as a “Hot Tar” roofer and foremen. He made a point to become fluent in Spanish to better understand and communicate with his crew members. Richard participated with the national chapter of roof consultants, and served as president of the Denver Chapter of Roof Consultants and Colorado Roofing Association.

Richard was survived by his wife Tami, two sons Russel and Robert, daughter Jade, as well as his mother and sisters.
